my 5 month old baby boy is being cranky / not sleeping well in night though he was sleeping good before. from last 5-6 days he is crying for every 10 15 minutes even though I'm holding him. #Askthedoctor any help is appreciated

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. every baby has their own sleeping pattern which keeps changing with age,only after 5-6 mons of age you can establish a regular sleep cycle gradually with time n age. A sound sleep of 8-10 hrs with a proper diet is sufficient for child's health.baby may cry usually due to gastric pain whicjh can be relieved by giving collicaid drops.other reasons could be nose blockage, diaper rash and may be more like hunger or sleep, any fear or stubbornness ,so accordingly may be assessed.If the crying behaviour doesnot resolve,visit your doctor.
