my 4 year old kid got wound in his knee, is he need TT shot..?

Author of questionFather of 2 children2 years agoA. ya we have giving vaccination as per schedule... yet we have to put 4 to 6 years vaccine... we are cleaning wound daily and applying povidone ointment...

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vaccination at this age because it is already covered in the naational immunisation schedule.
if the injury or cut is very dirty enough then the final decision sof tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor.
