Q.
My 4 months old daughter was not doing poop from 3 days.. so I applied hing on her navel and now she is doing loose motion 3-4 times a day.. did hing got wrong?? Or is it a infection because she sucks her thumb too

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. this is quite normal in babies below 6 months of age There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age

It’s teething Which is why your child is having lose motions because what you applied is specifically for gas and colic issues it has got nothing to do with your child passing motion so technically you didn’t do anything wrong so don’t take it on yourself it’s completely normal
