Q.

my 4.8 yr boy had 102 fever whole nyt.early mrng I gave 5ml p-250 fever syrup & little water.not more than 5min,he vomited only water.after 30/45 min I hav given 4ml of p-250. now temp is 99. I am worried,did I gave double dose..pls pls advice. he is sleeping now

A. it's fine a single heavy dose for the child should not cause any major problem. there is a possibility that the child might have vomiting. it will be single episode Gand then it should stop. on the side effects part it may not be that much relevant so no need to worry. it is importanzt that in the future you should give proper quantity to the child in case of medicines
