My 3month baby is coughing and sneezing.. what medicine should I give.... please help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there pa xracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Any cough, and she's younger than 4 months. A dry cough related to a cold (a runny nose but no fever) that lasts more than five to seven days. A dry or wet cough with a cold and a fever of 100 degrees or more.
