my 3 month old baby does not poop for 1 week. is it ok or a problem?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. It is very normal that infants and newborns may not pass stool for more than 10 days also and sometimes the frequency can be around 6 to 7 timezs per day also.
Both the above frequency of stool passage is normal if the consistenczy of the stool is semi solid to solid.
if the consistency is not hard then it is not constipation and intermittent crying is due to the colic pain due to gas

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. hello babies can go without passing motion dor a week as breastfed baby will have less waste and if baby is not passing motion even after a week then it is better to o check with your doctor and he wll be wble to guide u better in examination of the same and advise u accordingly
