Q.

my 2year kid has 5day + fever took blood test.. it has low platlet count 0.8 and high crp 27.7... dengue negative... now no fever... fever settled.... anything problem in report

A. hi. in your childs case, fever more then 3 days, crp is raised and platelates are less it is not normal. kindly talk to your treating doctir for further clinical examination and plan of further treatmemt accordingly

A. got checked by doctor... all other values are normal.. it's viral infection only.... adviced to test platlet count alternate days.... my question is high crp and low platlet count anything serious issues...pls clarify

Q. good morning, my daughter mahira is suffering frm fever since 5 days...I had done all the blood tests including cbp, CRP,malaria and dengue serology..,all the tests r normal including CRP and dengue is negative..., fever was down for two days..,but again she is suffering frm high temp .so again I reapeted cbp blood test so there is a low platelet count about 180000 and low WBC about 2900 .but there is no dengue it has been 7 days she is suffering frm fever doctors r saying that she has a viral fever so I made her admited in the hospital.., does platelets goes down in viral fever ? still how many days she will be cure , pls help me out doctor waiting for ur reply thank you
