Q.
My 26 days baby boy has very small amount of stool some time 3 to 4 times normal amount. is there any problem or its normal.

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. sir, the stool is semi liquid most of the time but some amount of saliva type liquid also present with stool.Baby is grunting before and after stool release.

It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also.
The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need tso worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the smell of the stool
Also straining and cryying while passing urine and stool is very normal
