my 2 years baby is having cold cough and fever. we consulted doctor they have given medicine. still fever coming from 2 days even using medice. generally fever will be there for how many days

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. please continue the medicines for 2 to 3 days Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, fever is nothing but a reaction to another problem. In your baby's case cold and cough are causing fever. So do not worry much. Just follow your doctor's instructions carefully. And give light diet to eat
