My 2 year doughter is coughing and trying cough through out

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a probcdper evaltuation .

Honey is helpful in relieving cough because of its various antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties too. Due to its viscous nature, it soothes the throat. An ideal way to administer honey is to mix a tablespoon of it in a glass of warm water and squeeze some fresh lemon juice into it.
