Q.

my 2 year baby boy is having fever continuously even after giving caplol syrup..... again consulted doctor so he told to give it every 5 hours.. plz tell what to do ..he is not eating anything

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if agaivn required and youd can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
