Q.
My 2 year 9 month old baby is frequently catching cold and cough and has to take pumps … her nose is always flaky and dry and due to that she doesn’t allow to touch her nose .. please advise

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a fhueature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Apply any good cream or moisturiser on the nose on a regular basis as you will see that there is going to be relief in that area your child would let you clean that area properly if needed and if it is continuously happening then you should get it checked for an allergy with your doctor
