Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Segmi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colourg (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear If your baby seems constipated, consider simple changes to your infant's diet: Water or fruit juice. Offer your baby a small amount of water or a daily serving of 100% apple, prune or pear juice in addition to usual feedings. These juices contain sorbitol, a sweetener that acts like a laxative.
