Q.

my 2 month old baby sleeps at night for around 7-8 hours without feeding. I hope it will be fine. or should we feed the baby interim.

A. During first two months you should maintain a gap of two hours between two feedings. But after completing two months it is advisable to feed your baby only on demand and do not give any forceful feeding on particular timings The feeding should be done atleast 10 minutes.

A. Newborns who sleep for longer stretches should be awakened to feed. Wake your baby every 3–4 hours to eat until he or she shows good weight gain, which usually happens within the first couple of weeks. After that, it's OK to let your baby sleep for longer periods of time at night.
