Q.
My 2 month old baby boy is pooping frequently from 3 days. Poop is quite water based, we gave ors 2 sache, but it doesn't stop. Please give a suggestion

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. yes can be. Diarrhoea may be symptom of any gastric infection . In this milk should be avoided as it is not digested well during loose motion . ORS should be given to baby to prevent any type of dehydration .

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Loose motion could be because of some infection or if chronic than could be some malabsorption. Initially you can give zinc supplement for 2 weeks and probiotic like econorm sachet for 3 days . For any spcbecific treatment consult your doctor and maintain proper hydration .
