my 15 month old baby has suffering from fever i am giving meftagesic-p as temperature goes down but today morning temprature goes up what other medicine i can give now.

A. no pls don't do self medication at all baby on touch can have warm sole forehead and is a normal thing . Temperature above 99 farenheit at armpit level is considered as fever and needs medicines . Can give calpol / Sumol / T 98 for fever and can be repeated every 6 hours . if fever does not subside with paracetamol and persists for more than 2 days then you need to consult a doctor for examination to know cause of fever .

Q. #AskTheExpert Good morning sir. Now a days fever takes 3-5 days to settle down. in the meantime the temperature is not decreasing gradually. Sometimes temperature is less than 99. but in the evening or midnight temperature goes up. so in this case should I continue p-250 for ever 6-8 hours or only when temperature goes above. Since some doctors say to give p-250 when temperature is goes up. Some say continue throughout the period till it settled down. Which is correct and good for child's health.
