Q.
my 10 month old baby suffering from cold.and don't want to eat anything even he can't suck breast milk also.i give him nasal drop but he can't drink.while he starts sucking he starts crying.i hear cough like sound from nose what should I do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viralhuy illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
