My 1 year and 2 months old baby girl has hard stool at every episode even though she is on Neopeptine. please advise me.

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly.
if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet frfom cereals pulses vegetables and fruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and pfrocessed foods as well as biscuits and refined food
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation

A. Hello This mostly can happen due to deficiency of water in the body basically when the body is not very well hydrated a lot of times you can see the issue of heart motion with a child I would advise you to keep your child’s body hydrated by giving really good amount of water to the child
