Q.

my 1 year 2 months old having fever from Tuesday evening and still she has., I'm giving meftagesic-p syrup....shall I take her to hospital or she will be alright by tomorrow?

A. fever is a response of the body to any kind of inflammatory process or any infection. here, the first thing which can be done is coal sponging up the whole body, which will reduce the fever and first medicine to be given is paracetamol in a proper dose of 15 MG per KG per dose and you can repeat it after every 5 to 6 hours. If again the fever is repeating fever causes dehydration so proper liquid intakek along with electrolyte solution can be given, and proper diet should be encouraged
