Q.
My 1 Year 2 months old baby boy is suffering cold and cough with fever. for first 3 days doctor suggested maxtra p and meftal p. and after he give agumentin duo and maxtra p and ascoril ls junior. but fever comes and goes. he is not eating food. how can the flum come out he is swallowing.

my son dr has given paracetamol ip 120 - 5 mn 4 time per day
sinreast for cold 3 times 2ml ... clamp -4 ml.. 2 time if fever is 101 above then same meftal
for cough Mucolite 5 ml - 5 dys

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As the first line of treatmfent you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evalctuation .
