my 1 year 10 months boy used to speak two letter words when he was 8 months, from last 4 months he is stop speaking other words , he is speaking amma and make some sounds only, some times not respond to our instructions now but he is active in physical activities

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .v
just make the child comforgdtable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comfes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
