Q.

My 1 and half year baby having severe fever and cold cough, doctor prescribed paracetamol drops and xyzal and cetirizine drops, I am giving this medicine for past 3 days, but still no improvement, fever coming again and again, what can I do?

A. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful . Cough Sypf shoutld be given only after a proper evaltuation .

A. good evening it must be viral infection and usually takes longer time to get rid of viral I would recommend you to continue giving the medicine to the child to make sure that it goes away completely
