ManshaMom of 7 children1 Year agoA. I am not an expert though what I have read is it happens due to deficiencies. make sure you give your baby enough of Vit D.
get it checked, but definitely add vit d.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. they are fontanelle and usually they will close by maximum 18 months of age and only sometimes by 2 years of age.
they are normally present in all infants and is important for the development growth of the brain
it is important to see that the child is not suffering from calcium and vitamin d deficiency as well as the child is not having any other complaints because their deficiency is the common cause of delayed closure of fontanelle.
