Q.

Meri daughter ko cold , cough hai last week se doctor ne Medicine prescribe ki hai but abhi bhi runny nose hai kya karu ??

A. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations . For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful. Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with mildk at least 2 times per day. Give warm water to drink If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor paracetamol for fever and pain.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please give baby indirect steam two to three times a day and also apply Luke warm mustard oil on baby chest and massage gently. Also give baby Maxtra syrup for running nose. Thanks and take care
