A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is moshct common. Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL cafn be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

A. Encourage activity and exploration by providing a safe environment that lets your child be active every day. Besides the physical benefits, this is also how a lot of learning takes place. This should be fairly easy, as most toddlers are naturally curious and seize every opportunity to move. Try not to let your baby spend too much time in confined spaces — such as strollers, playpens, and cribs — that restrain moving and exploring. Dairy Products. Milk, yoghurt, and paneer are all rich in calcium. ...Chicken. Chicken and other non-vegetarian foods contain good quantities of easily absorbable iron and protein. ...Fish. Fish is a good source of Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs). ...Healthy Oils. ...Carrots. ...Citrus Fruits. ...Sunshine. ...Bananas. Milk, yoghurt, and paneer are all rich in calcium. Calcium helps build strong bones. In case your child is lactose intolerant, he may need to take calcium from other sources like nuts and pulses to make up for a gap in the calcium intake.Carrots are famous as a rich source of Vitamin A. Spinach, kale, and other vegetables also contain high levels of Vitamin A. It is essential to include foods rich in different vitamins in your child’s diet. Vitamin A helps in boosting eyesight and immunity.Flaxseeds, walnuts, soybeans, and other nuts and their oil contain reasonable amounts of EFAs and minerals.Lemons and oranges are renowned for their Vitamin C content. Deficiency of Vitamin C can lead to serious diseases like scurvy. Vitamin C helps in strengthening gums and blood vessels and recovering from bruises. Guavas, mangos, bananas, tomatoes, and spinach also contain Vitamin C.https://parenting.firstcry.com/articles/2-year-12-to-24-month-baby-food-chart-feeding-tips-and-more/
