It can be infection or it can be rashes It is quite common that small babies will be having diaper rashes if you do not maintain hygiene properly you have to clean it with lukewarm water apply silo derm ointment stop using dapper till the rashes will heal

Try applying pure coconut oil on the affected area to reduce the discomfort. Use only cotton inners for your child. If the problem is severe better consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Good luck and take care
