mere baby k nak se khad khad k awaj aa rhi chest m nhi h cough Dr n nasoclear di 1 week se jda ho gya but koi fark n pda plz suggest best medicine cough uske gale m aa rha h jis wjh se wo pareshan ho rha

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever ixss there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

it is very helpful
please give gentle massage on chest and limbs with musterd oil
please give daily sun light exposure
