mera 5 manth campitle baby boy hai usko sardi khasi bukhar ho gai thi to doctor ko dikhaya tha abbi aram hai usko leki khasi thodi chalti hai lekin bo dudh pehle se kam kyo pi raha hai ....plz help mee...

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 3 years old and she is having mild cough so give her syrup chericof 5 ml three times a day and steam inhalation as well

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectogyrant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cbough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
