Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and l vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there sir please do not worry about it too much. It can be due to some infection in the baby as loose stool is not ok. But it is really very difficult to say anything without proper examination of the baby. It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly
