Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. yes Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treactment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever tchan it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Cord only on room temperature can be given to the child there is no problem with that it is healthy to be given just avoid giving mail for the time being because that aggravates loose motion further more if you required you can check with your doctor as well for proper medication
