jaundice level 1.5 in 10 days old baby is it a rise she hospitalized her ?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. Newborn jaundice is not harmful most of the time. For most babies, jaundice will get better without treatment within 1 to 2 weeks. A very high level of bilirubin can damage the brain. This is called kernicterus.Check with your paediatrician for better advice.
