is it ok to mix instantly and give syrups to 1 year old baby

A. What do you mean by saying mix instantly that I’m not understanding syrup if they are in the regular format you just have to shake the bottle well before you give the medicine to the child and if it is a powder medicine then you have to give it immediately after making it
