no not before 6 mnth. Breast feeding should be at least till 6 month of age. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .

Give only  BM or formula milk 
Give solid food after six months 
Burp well after evey feeding by holding  your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes 
Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm

doctors, could you please elaborate like what happens to baby if we feed these @below 6 months age. I told my M-in-law not to feed but couldn't stop them. my baby is getting tomato rasam feed daily when I am not around. please help so that I can explain them Clearly.
