A. Start to introduce solid foods when your baby shows signs of being ready – around 6 months but not before 4 months. Types of food to offer when introducing solids iron-fortified infant cereal. minced meat, poultry and fish. cooked tofu and legumes. mashed, cooked egg (avoid raw or runny egg).
