is it normal if my 5 month 18 days old baby doing potty 7-8 times in a day?

No problem if baby is passing adequate urine.
If baby is active and playful, no fever, passing adequate urine ie. minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion
( once in 7 days or 15 times
per day- both conditions normal.

Yes it is normal if it is not a loose motion because loose motions are always a concern for a child if it is not a loose motion and if it is a regular motion then there is absolutely no problem with that because sometimes it can pass number of motions in a day
