Is it normal for a baby not to latch

A. Absolutely because it is not easy for a child to latch onto your breast instantly they’re very poor large they get very tired so initially it’s very very difficult for them but over the period with regular practice and efforts the kids can pick up on that

Q. Hi Am having inverted nipple so baby struggled a lot to latch so we practiced for formula milk using feeding bottle, at last using breast pump my inverted nipple get normal, but baby is not latching. even I tried using nipple shield she is crying very badly to latch. I couldn't force her to latch. So am pumping my milk for now to feed her. So I need a solution or techniques to latch her.
