Is it compulsory to give burp to a 5 month old baby after every feed? Especially when she is fed at night it becomes little difficult as she awakens in this process. Please explain

A. Dear mum, it’s better to burp most of the time as it reduces the chances of vomit. If baby is sleeping, you may gently take on the shoulder and keep in an upright position for some time.
