Q.
Is it common to have urine infection in 2.5 years age group of kids? my daughter 2.5 years old had infection in last week.. Found protine trace and E coli in urine culture test.. why this happens? how to prevent such type of infections?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is very important to maintain hygiene of the urinary area of the female as well as it should be cleaned with only water and you should not use soap and also while cleaning the stool area you should clean it from the back and should not bring the hands from back to front

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Increased frequency of urination is related with underlying urinary tract infection, offer kid plenty of liquid, maintain hygiene,go for urine routine and culture test.
