Q.
is iron drops creates constipation in babies?? My baby's born weight is 2.1. She z suffering from hard stool after the completion of 6 months. have consulted a pead for the same. He preshan iron drops along with other medicines. acc to him a baby born less than 2.5kg weight should be given iron drops. Is it so?? should I start giving her iron medicine as my previous paediatrician didn't prescribed iron medicine.

if it is adviced, do give it as per instructions.
in some babies, iron drops can cause constipation. in case you should give her fiber rich food simultaneously.
