Q. Hi, my daughter is having fever for the last 5 days along with cold and cough from day 3. However the fever is getting reduced. first 48 hours upto 104 to 105. 48 to 72 hours upto 102. then 72 to 96 hours upto 101. 96 to 120 no fever. but again yesterday night after 120 hours she had 102 fever again. Should I visit the doctor. she is still having cough and cold. Only gave paracetamol so far along with honey for cough. P.S. I visited the doctor after 48 hours , she said no upper respiratory infection but seems to be a virus infection and should get settled in a day or two.
