Q.

I have twon daughters and they are 4 years old. They have a good diet. They eat all the vegetables and fruits. Daily they eat eggs and dry fruits too. But still they have Vitamin B and C deficiency. They have iron deficiency also. They have started getting dark circles now. Earlier they had vitamin D deficiency for which we gave them meds for 2 months. They don't gain much weight also. Hardly they gain 300-400 gms per year and then that also gets down within sometime. What can be the reason? Kindly help.

A. Minimum gain of 2 kg in a year is considered good so I think because too many deficiencies are there despite of eating well the child is not gaining weight because of the same I would advise you to consult a nutritionist in person depending upon the condition those are there they’ll be able to help you with the right diet plan and supplement that you can start with your child for better growth overall
