It is not mandatory but if you give it it is good because what happens if kids do not have proper hygiene habits they eat from dirty hands they pick up from your and their randomly keep things into their mouth so which is why issues of stomach infection can be commonly seen with kids so if you want you should I would suggest give it to the child
