Q.
I have a daughter of 8 month she has fever I gave her SWICH antibiotics but not she has fever still. I gave her CAlpol after giving CAlpol temperature went down. I want to know can I give her antibiotics n CAlpol at the same time ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can bgte again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating.
and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
