Q.
I have 4 months old baby boy.one week back suddenly he drinks milk in sleeping position.one day he drinks milk in sitting position.but now he is still continuing drink milk in sleepy position.many times I have try give milk in sitting position but he doesn't drink what should I do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. there is no problem in giving breast feeding ins lying position but at the same time you should keep the head of the child slightly elevated otherwise sometimes it can lead to aspiration in lungs as well as sometimes it can lead to milk going inside the ear of the child.
if the child is comfortable thens you can continue to give breastfeeding in the lying down position.
