I have 2 months old baby and it has been 2 days she is not passing motion.she is breast plus formula feed baby

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. constipation is very common in babies more so in formula fed babies There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, babies upto 6 months of age can hold their poop for 7 days but beyond that period you must consult with your paediatric. To prevent this situation you must burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary.
