i gave my 3.5year old kid ascoril flu tonic for cold and cefixime antibiotic each 5ml.now my kid having cough can i give ascoril LS ?im worried that ascoril flu nd ascoril LS will become overdose..pls help

thank you so much for the response sir.cold is from 4days i gave nasopac tonic 2days and ascoril flu 2days.from today i gave cefixime.as here there r no pediatric doctor available.will surely consult the doctor.but my son suffering from cough so asked to give Ascoril LS tonic  along with ascoril flu for now.

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a  viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a projiper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be hgiven to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
