I gave medicine to my 7m child with dropper..he developed cough which settled after 1min..I think there was mismatch between swallowing and dropping of drug in mouth....is there anything to worry???and can we use spoon next time??

A. Most babies can swallow a spoonful of pureed foods without choking when they are around 6 months old. Babies can start to use a spoon by themselves at around 6 to 12 months old.
