i gave carrot to play , I have seen blood in his mouth , do I go to hospital

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, please avoid giving carrot to play. Since they will be getting teeth they will start doing it very hardly. You need to give a boiled carrot stick. since your baby is still five months it is better to avoid after completion of six month you can feed semisolid purees. Where exactly is the blood. If there is any cut on the lips then nothing to worry it will get cured by its own. But if there is a swelling or cutting the gums then please breastfeed exclusively which is best for baby. And if there is no flow of blood then it is good. If there is any blood flowing is there and the bleeding is not stopping then it is good to consult paediatrician.Write Your Answer Here
