Q.
I am mom of 1 week old baby. I have flat nipples so my baby is not able to breastfeed. need your advice as how to feed him.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Now for flat or inverted nipples you can try this method. Put ur thumbs on either sides of the nipple within the aerola. Give pressure gently, then pull away the thumbs from each other still pressing, then gently move the thumbs all around the nipple. Keep repeating this. This will help your nipples to protrude. Or u can use nipple shield with ur doctor's advice. Or u can pump from that side which will also help to protrude the nipples.
