Q.

I am a breastfeeding mom. I have severe nipple cuts in both nipples. My doc suggested to apply Placentrex gel. But since i am feeding the cut is not healing. I cannot fulfill my baby's hunger by expressing and feeding it in paaladai. Pumping too makes the cut painful. My baby wants only to be breast fed. What can i do to heal the cuts. It is getting worse.

A. dear mom. you can use a nipple shield while feeding your baby to protect from further damage to the skin. use nip care cream. give your child a good latch. ok
